Why It's Special

• AHA + PHA Exfoliating Toner is a combination of 5% Lactic Acid (AHA) with Gluconolactone (PHA) to create a light to medium-strength exfoliant that targets skin conditions, such as rough skin texture, pigmentation, and superficial lines. The powerful combination of lactic acid and Gluconolactone offer a great alternative for those that find Glycolic Acid too harsh.

How to Use

• Apply with a cotton pad on a cleansed face in the night (PM), avoiding the eye and lip area.
• Do not rinse.
• A slight tingling may be experienced.
• May be used daily in the absence of irritation. Those with sensitive skin should start by using once or twice a week.
• For daytime use, follow with sunscreen, otherwise, use at night.

Ingredients

• 5% Lactic Acid: Helps stimulate collagen synthesis, increase ceramides in the skin’s protective barrier, increase water retention, and prevent congestion and pigmentation without sensitizing.
• Gluconolactone: Works exclusively on the surface of the skin without disturbing the layers beneath. Their large molecular structure limits their ability to penetrate the skin, thus reducing irritation.
• Sodium PCA: Increases water content of the top layer of the skin by drawing moisture from the air

Aqua/Water/Eau, Citrus Aurantium Amara (Orange) flower water, Lactic Acid, Propanediol, Glycerin, Gluconolactone, Sodium PCA, Pentylene Glycol, Sodium Hydroxide, Aloe Barbadensis leaf juice, sodium phytate, Propylene glycol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate.

Usage Advice

• A light tingling sensation immediately after application is normal, however, if you experience any severe reaction, such as intense burning and redness, rinse thoroughly and discontinue use.

Patch Testing

• We highly recommend a patch test 24 hours behind the ear or in your inner arm for at least 24 hours to see if any irritation occurs.
• Although lactic acid is one of the gentler acids, it is still acid. Refrain from using one too regularly to avoid over-exfoliation and damaging your skin. Introduce new products slowly. Start with twice a week.
• If pregnant/breastfeeding, please consult your doctor before use.
• Store in a cool dry place out of sunlight.
• External use only.
• Keep out of reach of children.
